	The Treble (i) If the notes on the tablature have been learned it should now be possible to play the tune in example 22 which is an old country dance. There are a number of slurred notes which must be played neatly. The fingerings for upper and lower Bnat, upper and lower C#, Eb (D#), F# G# (Ab) are given in example 23. The similarity in the fingerings of upper and lower Bnat| should be observed as this is a further aid to remembering the fingerings. The major scales of F, G, Bb and C should now be practised, as facility in playing scales is a great help in developing dexterity in fingering; the scales are shown in example 24.
